FAQ

How has COVID-19 affected your camp's opening?

We've waited patiently to hear guidelines from the state and health departments, we've come up with a few new protocols that will take place this summer to ensure safety. You can also find out about summer camp guidelines issued by Gov. Cuomo on governor.ny.gov.

I work.  Can I drop my child off earlier, or pick him/her up later?

Of course! We offer extended hours from 7:30am to 8:30am, and from 3:00pm to 6:30pm.  See our Rate Sheet and Fees form for current hourly prices (cash only accepted).

What should my child bring to camp everyday?

We recommend you pack lunch including snacks, drinks and a water bottle each day. Fridays are an exception though, because we provide free pizza!  If your child does not eat pizza, then pack lunch Fridays as well. We also strongly recommend children leave electronic devices at home (except for a cell phone for contact purposes) to avoid them being lost, stolen or broken and minimize distractions from our daily activities!

Where do I drop off my child in the morning and pick him/her up in the afternoon?

Given the state's guidelines and recommendations, children will be escorted into the building by a camp counselor, and parents or guardians must drop them off at the door. Parents will sign their child in and out daily on the roster with a designated counselor, and they must also show ID when picking their child up. The sign-in sheet will be made readily available at the door when parents arrive for drop-off and dismissal.

What are the camp's hours?

Following state and health department guidelines, we are implementing a staggered arrival and dismissal system. Each group will have a specific time they can arrive and be dismissed. For parents picking up multiple children, they can arrive and pick up at the latest specified time with all children. Parents will wait outside of the building and speak with the counselors outside to sign their children in and out.

Will you have health and safety PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on hand at the facility?

Yes! We will have masks, gloves, hand sanitizers, and disinfectant on hand at the camp everyday to ensure we abide by CDC and state guidelines to keep your children safe.
